Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、若年失業の対策として推進されている職業訓練の効果について明らかにしようとする。特に学んだスキルと職種の不一致（スキル・ミスマッチ）に注目し、雇用が少ない開発途上国においてミスマッチが多く発生し、職業訓練が若者の雇用に及ぼす効果が減殺されるという仮説を検証する。
2023年度および2025年度にエチオピア、アジスアベバの職業訓練校卒業生の追跡調査を実施する。そのデータを利用して、キャリア初期におけるミスマッチが賃金やスキルの形成に与える影響を分析し、職業訓練の効果の限定性（異職種での効果の減衰）について検討する。これにより、雇用対策としての職業訓練政策の有用性について知見が得られる。
