Outline of Research at the Start

社会行動の神経基盤を解明するためのモデル動物として広く使われているマウスを用いて「集団で仕事を遂行する」という場面を実験的に再現し、以下について検討する。
(1)集団で仕事を遂行するとき、他個体に関する情報処理や、作業や報酬の分配に関する意思決定は脳内でどのように行われ、どのような神経基盤で制御されているのか？
(2)集団で仕事をする経験が、集団内での社会的相互作用と（１）の神経基盤にどのような影響を与えるのか？
これらを分析することで、「集団で仕事をすることがヒトを含む社会的な動物にとってどのような意味を持つのか」という大きな問いに対する、答えの一端を明らかにしたいと考えている。
