Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、時空を離散化した格子上に定義されるドメインウォールフェルミオンを用いて、 ゲージ理論の幾何学的性質を、理論的、数値的に探る。具体的には1.格子ゲージ理論における指数定理の数学的定式化、2.臨界温度付近のQCD におけるトポロジー励起の相転移への寄与の定量評価の2つを主要な軸として研究を進める。前者の課題は、曲がったドメインウォールを持つ正方格子上のDirac演算子を用いて指数定理を定式化することを試みる。後者は、QCDにおける指数のふるまいをドメインウォールフェルミオンを用いた格子シミュレーションで定量的に求める。
