Outline of Research at the Start

星の形成と共にその周囲に円盤を形成し、その中で惑星が作られることが観測や理論を基に明らかになりつつある。宇宙に存在するガスや塵が惑星形成の材料であり、特に宇宙塵が互いに衝突し付着することが惑星形成への最初のステップであると考えられている。しかし宇宙塵が衝突によって実際に付着ができるのかは明らかではない。本研究では実験室によってダストをエアロゾル中で衝突させ付着が起こる条件を明らかにし、惑星形成モデルに適用する。
