Outline of Research at the Start

サイバーフィジカルシステム(CPS)の社会的な活用が広まり制御技術の情報化が進む中,セキュリティ面での脅威が急増している.本研究ではITベースの防御では対応困難な攻撃に対して,CPS内の物理システムの特性を考慮し,セキュリティ対策の多層化を目指す.とくに制御工学と計算科学の知見やツールを融合し,近年研究が盛んな制御論的なアプローチを深化させる.計測・制御情報が改ざんや通信妨害に晒された場合にも所望のタスクを達成するレジリエントな制御や検知アルゴリズムを開発する.コアとなるのは,CPSのネットワークへの階層構造の導入である.階層間でセキュリティ情報をフィードバックさせ,より高度な連携を実現する.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究はCPSセキュリティに関して悪意性の高い攻撃モデル,レジリエントな分散アルゴリズムや制御法および解析法について,システム全体の性能や安定性を保証するロバストな防御戦略の構築を目標とする.2023年度は主として以下の3課題に取り組んだ.
1. マルチエージェント系のレジリエント合意:本研究の中心課題として外れ値を無視する合意手法を協調制御の種々の課題に適用・発展させた.(a) ネットワークゲームを通じた最適戦略:上位層として,ネットワーク構造を決定する非協力ゲームを導入し,攻撃・防御プレイヤー双方が不完全な情報を持つ場合に対して最適戦略を求めた.(b) 分散型パラメータ推定への展開: エージェント系が連携してパラメータ推定する際のレジリエントな手法をMSRアルゴリズムをベースに考案した.(c) エージェントのモデル・通信の多様化:マルチホップ通信に基づくレジリエントな合意問題に対して,従来よりも保守性の少ないネットワーク構造に関する条件を導出した.
2. 応用分野への展開:(a) 振動子の数理モデルが不均一な場合に得られるクラスター型同期について,クラスター毎に平均位相を計測・計算した上でフィードバック制御する手法を考案した.(b) 新たなネットワーク型感染症・オピニオンダイナミクスのモデルを提案し,流行に関する意見に応じて,各エージェントが物理的な相互作用や接触を抑制する方式を採用した.
3. 零ダイナミクス攻撃下のネットワーク化制御系:検知困難な攻撃だが,制御信号が量子化される場合にシステムおよび攻撃の双方で取り得る対策を考えた.
上記成果の一部を IFAC World Congress (7月), IEEE Conference on Decision and Control(12月), 自動制御連合講演会(11月),計測自動制御学会MSCS(3月)等で発表した.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.

Reason

制御論的アプローチに基づくサイバーフィジカルセキュリティに関して広く研究を進めており,国際的にも注目されているレジリエントな制御手法や分散アルゴリズムに関して,既に多くの成果を得ている.今年度は本課題の支援の下で得られた研究成果が制御理論分野でのトップジャーナルである Automatica (2本), IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control (3本) に採録・掲載された.それ以外にも IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems, IEEE Control Systems Letters 等へも掲載された.
さらに,引き続き取り組むべき課題が多くあり,次年度も新たな発展が期待できる.下記の課題に取り組み,興味深い予備的な成果を得ている.
1. レジリエント合意:(i) システム同定や適応制御における重要課題であるパラメータ推定に対するレジリエントな分散アルゴリズムの開発に取り組んだ.(ii) 異常エージェントとしてネットワーク内を動的に移動する場合を検討した.自律移動ロボットの分野で提案されているアルゴリズムの汎用性について解析を進めている.
2. 応用分野への展開:ゲーム理論に基づき,ネットワーク上の地域を攻撃・防御する最適法を求める新たな問題を検討している.感染症の数理モデルと人々の病気に対する警戒心を融合させた数理モデルの構築および解析を進めている.
3. 情報改ざん下にあるネットワーク化制御系:遠隔制御下のシステムに対する零ダイナミクス攻撃の影響を考慮した制御法を考えた.この攻撃クラスは検知が困難であることで知られるが,本研究では制御信号が量子化される場合を検討し,システム側および攻撃側の双方の立場で取り得る対策を考えている.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

本研究で進めてきた,サイバーフィジカルセキュリティの研究を継続すると同時に,新たな方向性も探っていく.上記で研究実績として挙げた課題については発展させ,並行して新たな課題にも取り組み,より高度な制御手法や分散アルゴリズムを開発する.とくに下記の理論的な課題に取り組む予定である.
1. 平均合意のレジリエント化:合意問題の中でも初期値の平均を求める問題は重要だが,異常エージェントの影響が起きる時刻が未知の場合,その計算は困難である.この従来研究が殆どない挑戦的な課題に取り組む.
2. 振動子ネットワークのレジリエント合意:センサネットワークの時刻同期にパルス型通信を用いた場合,通信がシンプルなため多様な攻撃が可能だが,影響を受けにくいアルゴリズムを考案する.
3. 感染症の数理モデルとオピニオンダイナミクスの融合:ネットワーク内における感染症の広がりは,社会の感染症に対する警戒心によって変化し得る.本研究では数理社会学的なモデルによって人々の意見を陽に考慮したモデルを提案し,その挙動を解析する.
4. 情報改ざん下にあるネットワーク化制御系:量子化された零ダイナミクス攻撃について引き続き研究を進める.閉ループ系に対する攻撃の影響解析を行う.
研究成果の発表については,制御工学,分散計算・アルゴリズム等の会議や雑誌へ投稿する.
