Outline of Research at the Start

経験的に評価・解釈されてきた盤ぶくれ・押し出しといった変状現象に対して，素因となる含有膨潤性粘土鉱物の乾湿および水質変化による結晶膨潤挙動を分析し，それに伴う土骨格構造の劣化を高精度な室内力学試験により把握する．　そして，膨張性地山の変状メカニズムを適切に説明する水理－力学－化学連成解析手法を開発し，供用後に不可逆かつ進行的に発生し，今後増え続けると考えられるこれらの地盤変状を定量的に予測する．
