Outline of Research at the Start

分子大のミクロ細孔を持つゼオライトは優秀な工業触媒・吸着材である。一方で、ゼオライトの狭いミクロ細孔は反応・吸着対象とする物質の大きさに制限してしまう。本研究では、1～3 nm厚のゼオライトナノシートを構築可能なヒドロキシル基含有鋳型を着眼点とし、様々な骨格構造を持ったゼオライトナノシートの合成・構造解析・触媒応用によって、上述の細孔径の制限を受けないゼオライトの新たな研究領域を開拓する。
