Outline of Research at the Start

ワクチンは感染症の予防や難治性疾患の治療法として注目を集める医薬品である。本研究では、ワクチンに添加される免疫増強剤、アジュバントとして、水中で自己組織化しファイバー状構造体を形成するペプチド超分子の利用を提案している。ペプチド超分子の様々な物性を制御した際の免疫細胞への作用と得られる免疫反応を検証することで、どのようなアジュバントが高い免疫効果を示すのかを明らかにする。
