Outline of Research at the Start

近年の原子間力顕微鏡（AFM）の技術発展に伴い、固液界面構造の３次元サブナノスケール計測や秒スケールで生じる動態の原子・分子分解能観察が可能となった。一方で、その画像解析や探針制御については従来のAFMと同様の手法が用いられており、比較的弱い力で表面上に吸着・拡散するイオン・分子を十分な解像度や速度で可視化することが未だ困難である。本研究ではデータ科学手法を３次元AFM制御・画像解析へ適用することで、従来のAFMの性能限界を超えた超解像化解析や高速化を達成する。加えて、開発した技術の有用性を示すために、実際に民間企業から要望のある高分子や結晶材料の計測を実現し、幅広い材料技術の発展に寄与する。
