Outline of Research at the Start

分子集合状態では、共溶質分子濃度や水素イオン指数（pH）の変化に伴った蛋白質機能調節の分子機構の解明が待たれている。本研究では、アンサンブルMD法や配置選択定pH法を開発すると同時に、ペプチドやヘモグロビンを例に、pH変化に伴った側鎖のpKa変化や蛋白質の機能特性変化を微視的に明らかにする。本研究の成果は、将来的に、生体高分子の高次構造の時系列解析を通して、ガン細胞の発現過程でも重要視されている膜チャネルの開閉機構等の解明に繋がるものと期待される。
