Outline of Research at the Start

安定な有機中性πラジカルのらせん状オリゴマーの設計・合成を通して、らせんキラリティーと不対電子間相互作用の競合から生じる革新的なキラル電子機能を創出する。このようにして得られる「有機安定中性πラジカルのキラルなヘリカル連結体」を基盤として、例えば可視から近赤外領域におけるキロプティカル特性、磁性や電気伝導の異方的物性およびそれらに基づく外部刺激応答性、さらには偏光を用いたキラル電子スピン量子ビットなどの興味深い物性・機能を探求する。
