Outline of Research at the Start	私たちの身体は日毎に大きく変化するようには見えないが、物質のレベルで見ると合成と分解の平衡によって絶えず入れ替わっている。このような生体分子のターンオーバーは、老化によって不調になることが知られており、疾患の原因ともなる。化合物によるオートファジーの促進は、老化等により細胞内に蓄積した有害物を分解するために有効と期待されている。本研究課題では、AUTAC技術の疾患改善への応用や、作用する仕組み解明を進める。
