Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、未解明のキクの季節的花成能力の変化（年周変動）について、その制御機構の解明を目指す。存在が仮定される２つの花成抑制因子の特定とこれら因子によるキクの季節的花成制御機構の理解によって、植物の季節適応戦略、特に多年生草本植物のライフサイクル制御機構の理解を深化するとともに、気候変動の影響が憂慮される応用場面においても科学的根拠をもって気候変動適応策技術の開発等に貢献する。
