Outline of Research at the Start

斜面安定解析によって表層崩壊の分布を再現・予測し,その結果にリスク評価の枠組みを流用することで指標化する.リスク評価においては外力(地震加速度,降雨強度)が確率年などで標準化できることに着目し,土砂の移動範囲を被害規模として用い,両者の関係をスコアとして判定することで,土砂災害のリスクマップが作成可能となる.過去の災害情報が整理済みの複数の対象地において,提案手法の適用・検証を行ったうえで,森林の影響を含む形でリスクマップを作成する.

Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, individual models for landslides, debris flows, and sediment discharge were developed and validated using field observation data. Integrating these models enabled a comprehensive assessment of sediment-related disasters on a watershed scale and made it possible to generate risk maps tailored to specific disaster scenarios. Sediment supplied within the watershed due to landslides can be treated as unstable sediment, defined by the deposition areas obtained from debris flow simulations. This approach allows for the application of long-term simulations using soil erosion models. A comparison between field observations and simulation results indicated that, although the required accuracy and frequency of assessment vary depending on the scale of the disaster, changes in the volume of unstable sediment contributing to disasters were, in many cases, appropriately captured using only topographic data as input.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究では,豪雨に加えて,火山活動や地震まで含む複数の外力が引き起こす土砂災害を対象として,各現象の素過程を表現する物理モデルを用いて,包括的な再現計算を実施した.結果として,それぞれの支配要因を適切に考慮することで,同一モデルで多様な現象が再現できることを示した点は,学術的に意義が高いと言える.また,リスクマップの形で長期・広域の土砂動態を計算するうえでは,斜面崩壊などによって供給される不安定土砂は,単に地形条件の変化とみなすことが可能だという知見は,今後効果的な土砂災害対策を進めていくうえで有用だと考えられる.
