Outline of Research at the Start

日本の肉牛生産では、牛の成長や肥育に必要なエネルギーの多くを海外から輸入する穀類に含まれるデンプンから賄っている。肉牛生産を支えるデンプン資源の利用効率を”農家現場にて”定量的に把握し、デンプン資源の利用効率と肉牛生産性の向上に繋げていくための基盤研究として、次の3課題に取り組む。
研究①　大学等で肉牛のデンプン利用効率を実測し、農家現場で採材が可能な飼料と糞の成分からデンプン利用効率を推定するモデルを構築する。
研究②　赤外分光法によるデンプン利用効率の多検体測定系を確立する。
研究③　構築したモデルと測定系について農家現場での適応性を検証する。
