Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、自己免疫疾患発症に至る分子機序を明らかにすることである。ヒトの自己免疫疾患は遺伝要因、環境要因、ウイルス感染など が複雑に絡みあって発症に至ると考えられているが、その機序が十分に解明されていないものが多い。本研究では、遺伝要因の解明が比較的進展している１型糖尿病を対象として、１型糖尿病自然 発症モデルとして知られるNon-Obese Diabetogenic (NOD)マウスを用いて発症機序の解明を目指す。
