Outline of Research at the Start

疾患と関連する一塩基多型(lead SNP)の9割以上がnoncoding領域に存在するため、疾患との因果関係が特定しにくい。また疾患の直接的な原因となるcausal SNPは、lead SNPの連鎖不平衡領域のどこかに存在すると仮定されるため、その同定はきわめて困難である。本研究ではnoncoding領域のSNPに焦点を当て、自己免疫疾患の発症プロセスの全容解明に挑む。
