Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では腫瘍間質に蓄積するTGFBI特異的抗体による治療が、担がんマウスの腫瘍増殖、生存期間、免疫細胞に与える影響を評価する研究プロジェクトである。申請者はこれまでにTGFBIが腫瘍間質に蓄積すること、TGFBI高発現の食道癌、胃癌は癌が進行し予後不良であることを報告している。さらにTGFBI高発現が免疫チェックポイント阻害剤の耐性に関わることも肺がんで明らかにしている。
