Outline of Research at the Start

統合失調症は遺伝要因と環境要因が複雑に相互作用して病態が形成されると考えられている。統合失調症病態形成に関わる環境要因の一つとして、脳発達期の栄養欠乏が知られているが、統合失調症病態形成メカニズムと栄養欠乏の関連ついては、未だブラックボックスの部分が大きい。そこで、本研究では、環境要因の一つとして「脳発達期の栄養欠乏」に着目して、統合失調症発症メカニズムの理解に挑む。
