| Outline of Research at the Start |
|
| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We tested the possibility that allergic predisposition induced in the parents could be inherited by the offspring using a mouse model of OVA allergy and found that pups from allergen-sensitised mice were significantly more sensitised and allergic than pups from normal male and female crosses. This result was obtained with high reproducibility. Therefore, sperm were collected from allergen-induced and normal males, respectively, and analysed comprehensively by RNAseq. The results showed that non-coding RNA (ncRNA) contributed significantly to these phenomena.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
