Outline of Research at the Start

糖尿病改善に伴い歯周病が改善するレスポンダー群と改善しなかったノンレスポンダー群間の口腔細菌叢の構成や発現遺伝子の違い、さらに細菌叢から唾液中に放出される代謝物のプロファイルの違いを組み合わせて検討する。その後、レスポンダー群、ノンレスポンダー群のそれぞれを特徴づけることが確認された代謝物質に着目し、縦断研究や細胞実験によりその妥当性を検証する。
