Outline of Research at the Start

加齢や物理的傷害による腱疾患は、運動器障害の中でも罹患頻度が高く、痛みが慢性化することでQOLを低下しますが、治療法は限られており、病態を克服する新たな方策が求められています。腱は高度に組織化した構造を構築することで、柔軟性を獲得しているため、高度に組織化した構造をいかに維持するかが腱機能性の鍵であると考えられますが、腱の損傷や加齢性変性において腱再構築を担う細胞や制御メカニズムは不明です。本研究では、加齢性変化や腱損傷後に腱細胞ネットワークを再構築するメカニズムを解明することを目的とし、生体モデル、３次元再構成組織モデル、数理モデルを用いて解明を目指します。
