Outline of Research at the Start

近年、脂肪肝を素地とする非ウイルス性肝がんは増加の一途をたどっており、その予防・治療法の開発は喫緊の課題である。申請者らは独自に開発した脂肪性肝炎関連肝がんのマウスモデルを用いて、規則的な運動が肝がんの発症を有意に抑制することを見出した。本研究では、「規則的な運動が、どのような分子メカニズムで肝がんの進展を抑制したのか？」という「問い」に対し、「臓器連関」の観点から、運動によりどのようなメカニズムで肝がん形成が抑制されるのか解明していく。
