Outline of Research at the Start

研究代表者らが確立した糖鎖への高効率な免疫誘導法を応用して、食物アレルゲンであるα-Gal糖鎖を認識するイムノグロブリンを産生するマウスを作成する。このマウスを研究のプラットフォームとして、IgEのエピトープとなりうる食物由来の糖鎖抗原を探索するための実験系を構築する。さらに、α-Gal糖鎖を特異的に認識する独自のモノクローナル抗体を作成して、当該抗体のエピトープが食物中のどのような組織に局在しているのかを調査し、その分子形態(糖脂質であるか、糖タンパク質であるかなど)についても明らかにする。
