Outline of Research at the Start

複数人が集合して行なっている会議に1人が遠隔地からビデオ会議システムを用いて参加する状況で、相手の状態を把握しにくかったり、発話のタイミングがつかみにくかったりするために会話を円滑に進めにくいと感じることがある。遠隔会議では会議参加者が属する「会話空間」が複数存在すること、それぞれの「会話空間」に対して適切な注意配分が行えないことがその一因と仮定し、遠隔会議における会話進行のメカニズムの解明と、コミュニケーション円滑化手法の実現にとりくむ。そのために、まず「会話空間」の数を変えながら参加者の注意分布を計測し、会話進行に必要な情報を取り損ねる状況を調査し、それにもとづき改善手法を考案する。
