Outline of Research at the Start

インドシナ諸国では工業化、産業の高度化とともに、その開始時期や形態に違いはあるもののDe-agrarianisation（脱農化）が進展してきた。だが、アジア経済危機や新型コロナの蔓延のような大きなショックが起きると、反転現象すなわちRe-agrarianisation（帰農化、再農化）が発生する。従来のMigration（人口移動）研究が扱うのは単なる離村や帰村にすぎないが、本研究では、就業の調整、所得源の変化、社会的アイデンティティの変質、景観の変容、政治権力構造の再編といった多様な概念を含む“脱農化・帰農化”という分析枠組を用いて、農村内部に深く分け入り、インドシナ諸国の農村社会経済変容と脱農化・帰農化の現代史を明らかにする。
