Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、振幅と位相に構造をもつ電子ビームの生成および構造化電子ビームをもちいた新しい顕微法の開発を目指し、理論的および実験的研究を行った。本研究により、1)半導体フォトカソードに照射するレーザー光の振幅の構造が放出される電子線に転写されることを実験的に確認した。2)世界で初めて構造化ビームをもちいた電子線近接場タイコグラフィーの開発に成功した。本手法は強度が極端に高い輝点を含む回折図形をもちいないこと、メソスケールの対象物に適用可能であること、電子線超分解能の可能性が期待されること、など従来のタイコグラフィーにないユニークな特徴があることが判明した。
