Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では規範が混在する環境下で、多様な価値観を内包する相互協力社会を実現するための規範理論を構築する。またその理論を応用して来るべき人工知能技術(AI)と人の共存環境・大規模信用スコア社会における評判システムの適切な設計指針を構築する。この目的のため、実験室実験による規範の心理基盤の解明、実システム上の規範の分析、エージェントモデルによる制度設計という3つのアプローチを統合し、規範が混在する中でどのような制度・システムを設計することが協力社会を促進するのかを明らかにする。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

多様な価値観の混在が分断を招いた事例として新型コロナウィルス感染拡大下における自主行動やワクチン接種などへの態度があげられる。今年度は新型コロナウィルス感染拡大環境を社会的ジレンマの枠組みで分析し、自粛行動への協力意図や非協力者への罰規範に影響を与える心理態度を分析した。その結果、互恵性規範が罰行動に正の影響を持つほか、コロナ禍が常態化する中で人々の行動規範が変化することを定量的に分析することができた。
分断社会で想定されているように、評判による合意が期待できない社会における協力の進化メカニズムを探ることは、現代社会における人間の行動の基本原理を理解するために重要である。そこで今年度は、ドナーとレシピエントの両方の画像の更新を容易にするモデルを分析した。私たちの包括的なシミュレーションにより、ドナーの画像の更新に焦点を当てた、一般的に分析された評価ルールが次善の選択肢としてランク付けされていることが明らかになった。
実システム上での社会的分断を明らかにすべく。ソーシャルメディア上の社会的分断に関する分析を行った。新型コロナ禍における社会的分断をテーマに、ワクチンを題材とした分断が生じていく要因を明らかにするとともに、国別の偽情報の拡散を分析し社会的分断の要因の違いを明らかにした。

Reason

各サブ課題とも順調に進展している。互恵的協力に関して、アップストリーム・ダウンストリームの統合モデルを構築しシミュレーションの実装も完了している。同時にアップストリーム互恵性の被験者実験、AI混在時の人間の規範、繰り返し囚人のジレンマについて被験者実験をおこない論文の執筆を行っている。新型コロナウィルス感染拡大下の人々の行動規範・行動変容について５波のパネル調査を実施し理論と実証の接合をこころみている。特にアフターコロナを見据えた意見や態度の分断をもたらす時系列分析を行っている。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

人は他者の善意の判断による失敗を比較的寛容に評価する。２０２４年度はAIの誤謬に対して人はどのような評価基準、判断基準を要求するのかを明らかにする。更には、罰行使者が多くの状況で高く評価されないという既存研究の結果に対し、罰の潜在化モデルを提唱し、協力と罰の統合的な進化モデルを提案する。
