Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、最近、研究代表者が新たに発見した、量子ドット（QDs）のバンド端発光と欠陥発光の比率が周囲の環境温度により線形変化する現象（特許出願済）を活用して、類を見ない概念で実現される生体内の細胞温度計測（精度：0.1K）に応用可能な世界初のQDs温度イメージングセンサーを開発する。そして、生体透過性が高い近赤外（NIR）領域におけるQDs温度イメージングセンサーの開発に挑戦することで、生体外の細胞温度計測に加え、これまでほとんど実現されていない、オルガノイド（3次元的に試験管内で作られるミニ臓器）や生体内組織・臓器の深部に存在する細胞温度計測を実現する。
