Outline of Research at the Start	高齢化に伴い認知症や精神疾患等の中枢神経（CNS）疾患は増加の一途を辿っており、全ての人々が尊厳ある一生を全うするには、CNS疾患を克服することが不可欠である。既に国内外を問わず、CNS薬の開発が進められているものの、脳内へのドラッグ・デリバリー・システム（DDS）技術が未熟であり、未だCNS疾患に対する薬剤貢献度は全疾患中最低の値を示している。本研究では、独自のDDS技術をシステムアップすることにより、血中に投与するだけで低分子・中分子・抗体・ナノ医薬等を脳部位特異的に送達可能な革新的脳内薬物送達技術の開発に挑戦する。
