Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、毎年のパキスタン北部における現地調査に基づいて、消滅の危機に瀕しているインド・ヨーロッパ語族の言語であるドマーキ語の文法を明らかにし、最終的に参照文法書としてまとめ上げることを目的としている。この言語は周囲の言語群と系統的にやや異なり、周辺の言語群自体も銘々に異なる出自を持っていたりする地域であるので、ドマーキ語の詳細な特徴を明らかにすることは、周辺言語の研究にも大いに役立つものとなる。
