Outline of Research at the Start

維新政府の文書行政システムは、現代にも続く文書による決裁や押印の手続きなどを定着させる先駆けとなった。これは、維新政府成立以前から、近世の朝廷・幕府・諸藩において実践されてきた方式の一部を継承・導入してこれらを融合させ、新たに構築されていったものと推測される。本研究では、維新期以前の朝廷・幕府・諸藩における文書に基づく政務処理や文書管理との関連性に着目して調査・分析を進め、近世近代移行期を通時的に見通し、朝廷・幕府・諸藩を源流として形成された維新政府の文書行政システムを解明することを目指す。同時に、収集した関連史料群の画像データを共有可能な学術資源としてWeb公開する。
