Outline of Research at the Start

本研究ではエジプトの古王国時代の遺構から得られた断片的ながらも横断的な痕跡から、その背後にある巨石建造物の建設方法を明らかにする。AIによるギザのピラミッドの石組み構造の類型解析、周辺地形のDTMと合成開口レーダによる地勢解析を導入し、膨大な3D形状や2D画像データからの網羅的なデータマイニングを遂行する。さらにピラミッド建造に関わった人々が住んでいた近隣の住居址の物質文化資料や同時代のパピルスやグラフィートの文字資料などとの関連付けにより、4500年前のギザ台地におけるピラミッド建設プロジェクトを包括的視点から解明する。
