Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、土器残存脂質に含まれる「ミリアシン（キビのバイオマーカー）」、「イソプレノイド類（水棲生物のバイオマーカー）」、アルキルフェニルアルカン酸（APAAs）などの各種バイオマーカーの時空間変動をマッピングすることによって、日本列島における縄文弥生境界期以降のイネ・キビ・アワなどの大陸性栽培穀物の伝播と灌漑水田稲作の受容、それに伴う水棲、陸棲資源利用の様相を総合的に明らかにすることである。したがって、煮炊きに用いた土器を列島の各地域で、通時的に分析することができれば、「キビ」を含む大陸系穀物と「水棲（陸棲）動物」利用の変遷を議論し、確からしい弥生像を再構築することができる。
