Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は山地に立地する石灰岩洞窟とその周辺における後期更新世末から完新世初頭にかけての古環境の変遷過程を復元するとともに、その場所での先史時代の狩猟採集民の生態資源（動植物資源）の利用に関する歴史的プロセスを解明するものである。静岡県西部の石灰岩地帯に立地し、複数回発掘調査が実施され更新世末から完新世初頭の情報が得られると見込まれる滝沢鍾乳洞遺跡及び行者穴遺跡の発掘調査を実施し、石器・土器・骨角器や動物遺存の分析と洞窟の形成過程と堆積過程の分析を合わせて実施する。それに加えて必要に応じて植物遺体を対象とした分析を実施する。
