Outline of Research at the Start	衛星リモートセンシングデータ（以下、衛星データという）を古環境や歴史考古学的見地を通して多次元的に解析することで、これまでに5例の古代エジプト遺跡検出に成功した。本研究では、この研究をさらに発展させ、世界各地の条件が異なる地域に存在する多種多様な未発見遺跡の検出に幅広く適用可能なグローバルスタンダード技術へと改良することをめざす。現時点における研究の最重要課題は、国や地域が異なる遺跡を対象に調査事例を積み重ね、その有効性を事例ごとに明らかにしながら実用ツールとしての技術的体系を確立することである。
