Outline of Research at the Start

気候変動や放射性廃棄物の問題は現在世代と将来世代の間に対立を引き起こす。従って、環境配慮行動や環境政策への支持の根底に「将来世代に対する選好」が影響を与えると考えられる。しかし、この「将来世代選好」を定量的に推計した研究は無い。そこで、本研究ではその推計に取り組む。その際には各種の技術的な課題に対処する。対処の方法としてランダム化比較試験のデザインをオンライン調査上に適用する。また、現在世代が抱く「将来世代の生活環境についての予想」を調査する。本研究の結果より、超長期的な環境政策の立案に必要な「現在世代の将来世代に対する選好・予想」という情報を収集・分析することが可能となる。
