Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、＜21世紀時代＞の東南アジア大陸部、とくにその内陸域の「地方的世界」（本研究で地方的世界を表現する用語）を展望する。そのためタイ東北部、ラオス北部、ミャンマーのシャン州、中国雲南省などで事例研究を行う。
研究代表者・研究分担者は、かつて科研費を得て、東南アジア大陸部を含む東アジア全体の「地方的世界」の研究を実施し、20世紀末前後の変容を明らかにした。本研究はその成果に立脚し、この内陸域における、＜21世紀時代＞的な「地方的世界」の創成を解明する。とくに内陸域の特徴となる研究上の４アジェンダ【内部構造の進化、山地と盆地、中国からの人の流入、国内・国外への移動・移住】に即して分析を行う。
