Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、会話分析という研究方法を用いて模擬評議の分析をおこなうことで、裁判員裁判の評議において裁判官がおこなうファシリテーション技法を解明しようとするものである。評議の進行は裁判官によるファシリテーションの影響を大きく受けるが、その実際は個々の裁判官に委ねられているのが現状である。会話分析は、個々の発話が先行発話との関連でどう生じ、また後続発話にどう影響するのかを詳細かつ体系的に明らかにすることができる分析技法である。これにより、裁判官のファシリテーション技法が評議の進行に与える影響を明らかにし、よりよい評議運営に役立つ知見を提出することを目指す。
