Outline of Research at the Start

人見知りを（ⅰ）開始期、（ⅱ）中期、（ⅲ）終了期、の３期間に分け、各期間での回避－接近のバランス／アンバランスによる人見知りの差異を神経心理学的に明らかにしていく。さらに人見知り期のアタッチメントを社会的緩衝効果の具体的モデルとして神経基盤を探る。ヒト乳児を対象にした研究では相関関係を、幼少期マウスを使った侵襲的研究で因果関係を問い、動物種を超えたエビデンスを提供することが国内外の学術的独自性となる。人見知りの定型発達メカニズムが解明されることで、逆に全く人見知りをしない非定型発達ハイリスク児の神経心理学的理解につながり、臨床的支援に寄与できる。
