Outline of Research at the Start

「ポスト真実」時代では、読み手の感情やバイアスに働きかけて真実と思い込ませるような情報が氾濫し、適切かつ合理的な評価・統合・判断が困難である。本研究では、Epistemic Cognitionの研究をもとに、矛盾する情報の評価・統合過程において、学習者が自らの読解・統合過程をメタ認知し、その読解・統合方略を変容し、より合理的な意思決定をする能力を育むための協調学習環境を開発し、実践的に評価することである。この過程で、①学習者が矛盾する情報を評価・分析・統合・判断する際に障壁となり得るケースを明らかにし、②学習者がメタ認知を働かせて適切に理解できるようにするための学習支援方法を開発し、評価する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

「ポスト真実」時代では、読み手の感情やバイアスに働きかけて真実と思い込ませる扇情的な情報が氾濫し、適切かつ合理的な評価・統合・判断が困難である。本研究の目的は、認識的認知(Epistemic Cognition)の研究をもとに、矛盾する情報の評価・統合過程において、学習者が自らの読解・統合過程をメタ認知し、その読解・統合方略を変容し、より合理的な意思決定をする能力を育むために、探究的な学習プログラムを含む協調学習環境を開発し、実践的に評価することである。
2023年度は、以下のような研究を実施した。
(1)複数文章読解と統合的理解にあたって、学習者が考慮しなければならないバイアスは何かを調査した。具体的には、医療・健康に関する情報や、社会科学的な情報（教育学に関するもの）について、エビデンスの一部だけを取り上げて主張している情報に対する警戒心を発揮できるのかを分析した。
(2) また、どのようにしたら、そのようなバイアスを乗り越えて学習者が合理的に統合的理解を行うことができるようになるかについて、既存の学習プログラムを調査するとともに、モデルプログラムを開発してプロトタイプ的な実践を行った。
(3) 開発中の協調学習環境EDDiEに組み入れるべきスクリプト・プロンプトを検討し、その提示ができるようにするための技術的検討を行い、一部の機能について実装を行った。
(4) 神奈川県の高等学校の教員の協力を得て、EDDiEを活用した授業実践を試行的に実施していただき、実践研究のデザインにあたっての制約条件を検討した。

当初計画をしていた項目に加えて、実際の学校でパイロット的な教育実践を試行していただいたこともあり、概ね順調に進展していると判断している。

前年度の研究で見出されたことをもとに、国際学会での研究発表や論文投稿を推進し、フィードバックを得た上で、教育プログラムの開発研究を進める。
