Outline of Research at the Start

物質中電子の幾何学位相を基盤とした非線形応答現象（トポロジカル非線形応答現象）は、高効率の太陽電池や新規ダイオードへの応用可能性から、現在精力的に研究がなされています。これまでは弱相関系が主な研究対象でしたが、一方で、強相関電子系においては多彩な量子相や集団励起モードがあらわれるため、それら特有の量子位相に起因した新たな非線形機能が現れると期待されます。本研究では、強相関電子系、特に反転対称性の破れた磁性体・超伝導体・モット絶縁体などにおいて、場の理論的手法と数値計算を組み合わせてシフト電流・非相反電流などについて理論解析を行い、応答の巨大化や強相関系特有の量子位相構造の解明を目指します。
