Outline of Research at the Start

SrTiO3では、Srの一部を、Ca/Ba等で置換すると強誘電体に変化しますが、このように強誘電を誘発すると、超伝導転移温度が飛躍的に上昇することがわかってきました。本年度は、Ba置換量をより少なく、または、より多くした、Sr1-y0Bay0TiO3 (y = 0.015 and 0.1) について、強誘電による超伝導の増強について調べ、Ba置換量(y0) - キャリア濃度(n)平面上での Tc のヒートマップを作製します。
EuTi1-xNbxO3では、Eu2+(4f7)の局在スピン間に、RKKY相互作用が働き、反強磁性/強磁性金属が形成されますが、この磁性相と超伝導の競合について探求します。
