| Outline of Research at the Start |
ALPはMeV-GeV程度の質量をもつ新粒子の有力な候補として近年注目されている。研究代表者らは、高エネルギー加速器研究機構の電子陽電子線形加速器を用いたALP探索実験であるEBES実験を実現するために研究を行っている。本研究では、EBES実験のための検出器システムとシールドの開発に取り組む。そして、数日程度のデータ取得を行い、ALP探索について最初の物理結果を出すことを目指す。
