Outline of Research at the Start

近年の系外惑星の探査によって、太陽系の地球型惑星(水・金・地・火)よりも短周期の軌道を持つ小型の系外惑星が数多く発見された。これらの惑星は、我々の住む地球と同じように形成されたのだろうか? 本研究では、上記の問いに対して答えを導くため、惑星誕生の場である原始惑星系円盤(若い星の周囲の円盤)の温度構造モデルを構築し、円盤の中での岩石惑星の形成・軌道進化・組成進化を理論計算する。その結果を系外惑星の観測データと照らし合わせることで、太陽系の地球型惑星と系外の短周期岩石惑星の起源の違いを明らかにする。
