Outline of Research at the Start

代表者らが提案した「粒界プレメルティングの効果を含む非弾性と粘性のモデル」は、メルトがなくても上部マントル地震波低速度域やアセノスフェアの存在を説明できるため、観測データ間の矛盾を解決できて重要であるが、非弾性の粒径依存性について未解決の問題が残る。本研究は、従来より大粒径の試料を用いた実験データの取得と新しい粒界滑りモデルの開発を行なって残る問題点を解決し、このモデルの精度を高める。
