Outline of Research at the Start

地球の物質的進化は生命の誕生・持続可能性を理解する上で欠かせない情報であり、世界中で研究が進められている。本計画では新たな実験手法を用い、短時間反応が重要な場である(１)小天体衝突時の物質進化過程と、(２)高圧下準安定相の出現条件を理解することを目指す。これらの目標達成のために、百万気圧、数千度を超える高温高圧発生実験と、ミリ秒級極短時間その場測定を組み合わせ、短時間高圧下地球物質反応実験を世界に先駆け推進する。申請者らが準備を進めてきた独自の高温高圧発生法と、先端測定手法を用いることで、これまでに類を見ない極短時間・高温高圧実験方法を完成させ、高圧下地球物質反応速度論を構築する。
