Outline of Research at the Start

最も汎用的なFe-18Cr-8Niは、オーステナイト相の安定度が低く、変形中に水素脆化敏感性の高いマルテンサイト相に相変態するために、水素により強度・延性・靭性などの重要な機械的特性が低下する。今後、水素社会が自立して発展するためには、その機械的特性低下の本質を見極めて“水素の影響を受ける材料”についての安全・安心な設計指針を構築し、積極的に使用することが不可欠である。本研究では、重要課題となるFe-Cr-Ni合金の相変態×水素に焦点を当て、変形中における関心領域に随時ズームインして、相変態挙動および結晶学的情報を解析し、相変態起因の水素誘起き裂の発生・進展プロセスの解明に挑戦する。
