Outline of Research at the Start

マイクロスケールの生物流れでは帆立貝定理の制約を巧みに回避した戦略により流体を駆動する．DNAオリガミ技術を生かしたマイクロ・ナノスケールの流体デバイス開発が将来期待されるが，流体駆動を最大化するDNA構造物の変形パターンの設計は自明ではなく，また変形するDNAオリガミの開発が不可欠である．本研究課題ではDNA鞭毛（DNAの自己組織化により形成する鞭毛）を研究対象に，まず流体構造連成の最適化問題を解き目的関数を最大化する効率的な鞭毛の変形パターンを探索する解析基盤を構築する．またその基盤を活かし，壁面上を移動するDNA鞭毛，および集団運動により流体を駆動するDNA鞭毛を実験により実現する．
