Outline of Research at the Start

現在広く使用されているパワーエレクトロニクス機器は，パワー半導体デバイスのスイッチング動作を用いて高効率な電力変換を実現しているが，原理的に電磁ノイズの発生が避けられない。研究代表者らは，これまで，高い変換効率を維持しつつ原理的に電磁ノイズを一切発生しない電力変換方式としてマルチレベルリニアアンプ（MLLA）のコンセプトを提案，実証した。本研究は，MLLAの各回路方式に特有かつ共通の技術であるが未解明な部分が多い，電圧不均等化，ゲート回路構成，キャパシタ電圧バランス制御などの各要素技術の特性を明らかにし，電磁ノイズを発生しないパワーエレクトロニクスとして学術体系化することを目指すものである。
